Creator Agreement
Last updated: August 14, 2026
This agreement applies when you publish films on MoonMac Studio. It works together with the Terms of Service.
1. Your work stays yours
You keep full ownership and copyright of everything you upload. You grant MoonMac Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, encode, stream, and promote your films on the platform (including artwork and trailers in marketing). You can unpublish your films at any time; viewers who already unlocked them keep access.
2. What you promise about your films
You confirm that you created the work (or hold all necessary rights), that it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or likeness rights, and that any AI tools used were used in accordance with their licenses. You are transparent about the tools used. Real people may not be depicted without their consent.
3. Earnings
You earn 70% of net revenue — the amount that remains after payment-processing fees charged by our payment provider (Stripe) are deducted. Those fees come off the top first; your 70% is then calculated on what is left. This applies to every coin unlock of your films and to the membership pool alike: 70% of net membership revenue each cycle is divided among creators in proportion to member watch time. Earnings accrue in your Creator Studio in real time, shown net of fees so the figure you see is the figure you are paid.
4. Payouts and the holding period
Payouts are automated through Stripe Connect: connect your bank once, then withdraw any cleared balance of $25 or more. Earnings clear after a holding period of 14 days, which lets refunds and card disputes surface while the money is still ours — once cleared, the balance is yours to withdraw at any time. You are responsible for taxes on your earnings.
Coins a viewer has already spent to unlock your work are non-refundable, so your credited earnings are not reversed by someone simply changing their mind. If a card dispute, chargeback, or fraud reversal affects past earnings, we may adjust balances accordingly.
5. Pricing, curation and standards
Every submission is reviewed by a human before premiering. We may decline or remove work that doesn't meet quality or content standards, with a note explaining why.
Pricing is set by the platform — a flat price in coins per episode — so viewers always know what to expect and no film prices itself out of an audience. Episodes fall within a short length window to keep the catalog consistent. We may change platform pricing over time; your 70% share of net is what stays fixed. Free sampling is yours to control: you choose the preview length and how many opening episodes of a series are free, including none at all.
6. Ending this agreement
You can stop publishing at any time. Accrued earnings above the payout minimum remain cashable. We may end the agreement for material breach — plagiarism or rights infringement forfeits unpaid earnings from the infringing work.
